Back on August 2022 we launched our first 3D printable product that assisted with refilling the Show-me slim barrel drywipe markers; and while this achieved the brief to improve the stability of these systems we saw that the uptake was much less than expected, with some end users stating the complexity of the concept.
SO, we took the brief back to The Lab to create a much easier solution.
Introducing the MK10 insert
Not only does this new version fulfil the basic function of stabilising the Show-me drywipe marker in the inkwell, but it is much, much, much, MUCH cheaper (3p) and quicker to print. Using a basic 3D printer like the Ender 3V2 the insert took 14min to complete with very minimal post processing for a snug fit.
As before we have packaged up the STEP file, as well as a GCODE file for instant printing.

Assembly and usage
Once you have printed off the amount of inserts required, all you need to do is attach it to the top of the existing inkwell. The friction fit design with low profile allows the original screw lid to still be used. If you want to use the inkwell with the original size drywipe markers you can remove the insert.
As we do not currently offer a Show-me refillable inkwell, we suggest and have created this insert for the Edding BTK25 so that you can extend the life of your existing drywipe markers.
